HOW i4 WORKS

i4 is focused on the oil field services industry to provide financing to smaller suppliers who are financially stressed by longer payment terms with larger customers.

i4 is the technology and financial infrastructure that gathers, analyzes, prices, funds, and reconciles account receivables to provide low friction early payments. Our platform integrates data from Oil Field Services SaaS partners and directs payments through a Payment Gateway partner to provide a user-friendly portal for a smooth customer experience.

How i4 Works

THE PROCESS
  • Seller application is done electronically via the i4 portal and includes the following:
    • Agreement and waiver to access information from certain Oil Field Services SaaS partners where much of the application information may be auto filled.
    • KYC / AML (may require further information from applicant).
    • Setup of a new Seller payment and collection demand deposit account tied to a debit card (this is done digitally through our Payment Gateway partner and all cash will flow into this account).
    • Request for redirection of Buyer payments to the new Seller demand deposit account.
    • Seller lien searches.
    • Execution of Receivable Transfer Agreement that contracts the terms of early payment (and any required UCC filings for the legal transfer of the account receivable).
  • i4 accesses and analyzes historical account receivable performance pulling data from Oil Field Services SaaS partners as required.
  • Seller request for early payments, funding, and administration is automated and handled by i4’stechnology infrastructure.
  • Early payment offers are made on existing account receivables and offers to purchase new account receivables may be made as quickly as invoice generation – the Seller will decide whether to accept early funding.
  • Any disputed invoices or payment shortfalls can be deducted from future payments, thereby not stressing the Seller nor the Buyer’s business relationships.
